Central Park in Northfield provides a clear start location with 30-minute check-in requirements, but the event explicitly tells you to "bring cash" for stops and warns that aid stations "MIGHT show up" or might not. Run by three people—Marty, Ben, and Mike—this is intentionally minimal logistics by design, not oversight.[1]

The course passes Oxford Mill ruins "an old grain mill along the river that operated from 1878 to 1905" and descends to the Little Cannon River "along winding rural roads surrounded by greenery and farmland." Riders can choose distances on the day itself, adding route flexibility to the countryside exploration.[1]

Dustin describes it as gravel riding "without the self-seriousness and pressure of the increasingly competitive modern gravel racing scene." Organizer Marty Larson is explicit: "This is just a bike ride. We're doing this to provide a space for people to come and ride their bikes. It's not an expo."[2]
