In my opinion, it's actually harder than Unbound. Yeah, it's 50 miles less, but I think the terrain is just a little more relentless. One thing I quickly learned last year is there's no flat roads in Nebraska.

The entire 150 mile course has about 11,000 feet of climbing, it's very lumpy indeed. I understand there were 87 hills along the 150 mile course - that's a wee bit unpleasant when you make your home in North Central Florida which isn't renowned for being all that hilly.

Another unique thing about the race this weekend is there's no outside support, which means we're on our own should we flat, break a chain, anything like that. Definitely a little bit more strategy around nutrition and feed zone stops this weekend compared to your average gravel race, which is kind of cool. Just adds another dynamic to the weekend.
