What we did today/what is that like?
Highlands Circuit Race, which is 20 laps of a 5-mile circuit with a gigantic hill.
How did I do?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA – 123/162.

What I hated about today
Cornering and the sound of 162 dudes freewheeling at 45 mph into a narrowing road.
Lap 1: OMFG JESUS WE’RE ALL GOING TO CRASH AND DIE OMFG I’M GOING TO GET POPPED ON THE FIRST LAP WE’RE GOING SO HARD WE HAVE TO DO THIS 20 TIMES?????
Lap 2-18: Why am I tailgunning a 162-person field nothing good will come of this and I’m going to get dropped for a dumb reason.
Lap 19: OH SHIT THE GUY IN FRONT OF ME IS POPPING FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT DON’T BE A BITCH BUT OH NO I CAN’T FEEL MY LEGS IT’S OVER IT’S ALL OVER.
Finish: I can’t feel my face and my new jersey is cutting off the circulation to my arms.
I’ve spent years failing badly at bikes so you don’t have to. I have a mortgage, two kids, a wife, a dog that doesn’t listen, a weakness for Miller Lite, and fish frys – but I can still turn a pedal if I have to. Chances are we’ll get along just fine.
