The Course
Fort Ord's sandy climbs and loose-over-hard descents turn your bike into a wrestling match. Two laps of relentless XC terrain where the sandstone gets looser and the ruts get deeper as 2,000 riders churn the course into a minefield of blown lines and shattered legs.
Signature challenge: The sandy climbs don't negotiate with your fitness or technique. Fort Ord's sandstone terrain punishes every inefficient pedal stroke and rewards only those who've learned to dance with loose dirt. By lap two, the course has been churned into a minefield where clean lines disappear and mechanical sympathy becomes survival.

The course itself was roughly 34 mile loop on really fast kind of single track dirt road there wasn't a lot of technical sections out there there was a couple rocks here and there but for the most part it was really fast and kind of loose over hard pack on all the single track.

Sea otter classic is a big vendor Expo basically all the brands are there including me with bike flights so we showed up on Monday set up on Tuesday I got out on course with Russell and Alexi on Wednesday and then I was working the Expo all day Thursday and Friday.
